Red Light Therapy devices deliver red/NIR wavelengths to bare skin. More like Photosynthesis than heat therapy, as light photons penetrate the skin, they are absorbed by your mitochondria (the energy center of your cells), which then increase the production of ATP (the substance that acts as cellular fuel).
